Chat icon is missing on Safari Browser

Since the macOS Sonoma 13 update, some users have reported that the support chat icon in the Pandectes GDPR Compliance app dashboard is no longer visible when using Safari. This issue is specifically related to changes in Safari’s privacy settings introduced with the update. Below is a screenshot showing the Pandectes dashboard where the chat icon should appear in the bottom right corner, but it’s missing.


In addition, this issue also impacts users who are unable to customize their theme using Shopify's theme editor.

Steps to Fix the Issue



Open Safari Settings:
- Go to the top-left corner of your screen and click Safari from the Mac toolbar.

Access Developer Settings:
- From the dropdown menu, select Develop > Developer Settings.

Go to Advanced Settings:
- In the Developer Settings menu, navigate to the Advanced section.



Disable Advanced Tracking and Fingerprint Protection:
- In the Privacy section, toggle Use advanced tracking and fingerprint protection to Off.



Refresh the Pandectes Dashboard:
- After disabling the setting, refresh the dashboard in Safari. The support chat icon should now appear in the bottom right corner.

Apple does not provide a detailed explanation for this setting in their official documentation, but it has been reported as a reliable solution for users experiencing this issue with the Pandectes app. This fix not only resolves the missing chat icon problem but also addresses issues users have encountered while trying to customize their themes using Shopify's theme editor.
