Cookie domain setup

The cookie domain option is something that is essential if the store is using subdomains and the main domain and requires the banner to load on both areas without having to open again between them if the user has already interacted with it.

This option can be configured inside the Settings of the banner.

Suppose a site is running on www.somesite.com if traffic comes from marketing.somesite.com and the banner is also loading there, then on the main domain www.somesite.com the banner will reopen because the cookie has been saved in the marketing.somesite.com which was the entry point of the visitor. In these cases we need to set the cookie domain to be the somesite.com so the cookie is read by both subdomain & domain and counts consent in both of them.
