Customizing Notifications

Overview

The Notifications settings in the Pandectes GDPR Compliance app allow you to manage how you receive alerts for data subject requests and configure the notifications sent to you and to your customers. This ensures that both you and your customers are promptly informed about data subject requests.

Email Addresses

All notifications for the merchant will be sent to the primary merchant email address. Additionally, you can provide a secondary email address for forwarding emails, which is useful if your company has a Data Protection Officer (DPO).

Merchant email:
This is the primary email address where all merchant notifications will be sent.

DPO email (optional):
You can optionally provide a second email address to receive notifications, which is particularly useful if your company has a DPO.

Events & Triggers

You can configure which types of events will trigger notifications for you (the merchant) and your customers. This allows you to stay informed about important data-related activities and ensures your customers receive updates regarding their requests.

Email merchant on:
Export data requested: Get notified when a customer requests to export their data.
Update data requested: Get notified when a customer requests an update to their data.
Delete data requested: Get notified when a customer requests the deletion of their data.

Email customers on:

Update data requested: Customers receive an email notification when they request an update to their data.
Delete data requested: Customers receive an email notification when they request the deletion of their data.

Branding

You have the option to include your company logo in the email notifications. This adds a professional touch and helps in brand recognition.

Include Company Logo in emails:
When enabled, your company logo will be displayed at the end of the email notifications. Just add a logo url on the field.
