How to create a banner that meets Google’s banner requirements
In this article you will learn how to setup Pandectes in order to provide a banner to your store based on Google’s banner requirements.
Beginning in March 2024, you'll need to use a CMP that supports Consent Mode v2 to track European audiences with Google Ads. Then, on July 31, 2024, this requirement will extend to Switzerland.
For your information, if you notice any issues with missing Consent Mode or TCF signals on your Google tags, please contact Pandectes first.
To have a banner for Google first you need to select a banner with the proper layout based on our app settings. Google requires the banner to be fully configurable from a graphical user interface which is something that Pandectes offers. You can see the different settings here.
In the Banner type / Consent mode section you need to select the Preferences option and then check the option that says "Display cookies list under each category"

After that you have to check the option to show the link to the Google's Terms page.
