Learn to display the consent banner on selected pages of your Shopify store with our guide. Tailor user experience and comply with privacy regulations.

If you would like to show the banner only on the home page or if you would like to hide the banner on specific pages, please follow the following steps.

Data collection on these pages works with the default settings. This means that in the pages that the banner is not visible, if a visitor lands there and has not interacted with the banner before, then the default hehavior will be applied to the pages. If the policy of the banner is strict then on these pages only strictly required cookies will fire.

Steps to follow

Step 1

From the application’s dashboard, you need to click on Customize section.

Step 2

You have to scroll to the end of the page and find the Other settings section.

Step 3

In this section, you have two options:

You can show banner only on the homepage of your site
You can blacklist some pages where you do not want the banner to show up

If the first option is activated, the banner will only be visible on the homepage of your side.

In the blacklisted pages, you can put the URLs of the pages on which you don’t want to show your banner. To add more than one page, you need to click “enter” to use a new row for each page.

For example, here you can add the privacy policy and/or your impressum pages in order to make them readable without the banner.
