Integration with Tagfly Google Ads, Tag Manager

The following article is targeted at Shopify merchants using the Pandectes GDPR Compliance app to run their cookie banner and using or wanting to use Tagfly: Google Ads, Tag Manager for data collection.
Tagfly will ensure that all the tags in your Google Tag Manager container are properly configured to fire only after your store's visitors have consented and given the right permissions.
This integration is only available to all our paid plans.
Here’s how to configure the cookie banner in the Pandectes GDPR Compliance. First, open the GDPR Compliance App and follow the next steps.
First, you need to navigate to your theme.liquid file and paste this snippet: <script src="{{ 'pandectes-rules.js' | file_url }}"></script> right under the <head> tag.
The file can be found by going to your theme and clicking on the three dots next to the customize button and then on "edit code".
From the Dashboard, click on the Customize link.
Under the Behavior tab, look for the Banner type/Consent Mode section. Make sure to select one of the options that will guarantee that all but necessary cookies are blocked when a visitor comes to your store. Select any of the following:
Accept only
Accept/Decline
Preferences (make sure the Strict policy or the Strict/Loose policy checkbox below is also checked)
Click on the Save button.
After that navigate to our app's settings > Integrations page and under Google Consent Mode make sure the checkbox for the integration is enabled. Make sure you leave the fields bellow the checkbox empty.
After you are finished with the setup of our app and you are ready to start collecting anonymous user data before consent and personalized data after consent has been provided.
