In the new banner version, the banner behavior is separated into two main concepts:

Cookie Dialog – how the consent dialog is presented to visitors.
Consent model – how consent is interpreted and applied.

This separation allows merchants to choose the user interface of the banner independently from the consent policy applied to visitors.

Banner Modes

Banner modes define how the consent dialog appears and what interaction options visitors see.

You can select the banner mode inside:

Settings > Banner > Layout > Consent dialogs

The available banner modes are:

Cookie Notice

This mode displays a simple informational banner to visitors.

The banner informs users that the website uses cookies and allows them to confirm their choice using the available buttons.

Characteristics:

Minimal banner interface
Focused on basic consent acknowledgement
No cookie category configuration directly from the banner

How to enable Google Consent Mode

Navigate to Settings > Integrations

Switch on the integration and you will see the basic options of the integration.

With the integration enabled, the Google Consent Mode will be automatically enabled for the Google products you have manually setup in your theme.liquid without any further action. So the minimum action here is to just activate the integration and click save.
If you want our app to load your Google properties, then you just add these property ids below where it says Setup Google properties. Then our app will load these Google Tags for you with Google Consent Mode enabled.

Basic Mode

If you want to enable the Basic Mode of Google Consent Mode you will need to activate the Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads options inside the Autoblocker.

Advanced Mode

If you want to enable the Advanced Mode of Google Consent Mode then you just skip the auto blocker options.
