How to Fix Shopify Cookie Message Not Disappearing
Shopify says to allow cookies, but Cookie message does not disappear. In this article you will learn how to fix it on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and Brave browsers.
Allow cookies to enable full editing capabilites. Without allowing cookies on this browser, you will be unable to edit most templates on your store.
The warning message that you may see is the following:
This is a common warning message that appears, and It is caused by your browser. If you followed the steps that Shopify prompts you, but the warning still appears you need to do the following. Just navigate to the section that refers to your browser.
Go to the Safari Settings. In the Privacy Settings, uncheck the "Prevent cross-site tracking" option.
So it Should look like this:
Go to the "Advanced" panel, and uncheck the "Use Advanced tracking and fingerprinting protection"
And the warning should now be gone!
Go to the Firefox Settings. In the Privacy & Security tab, select Custom mode. Disable the Cookies & Tracking consent options
Go to the Settings > Privacy and Security, and make sure that the Allow third-party cookies option is selected:
Go to Settings > Cookies and site Permissions > Clock on Manage and delete cookies and site data > And disable Block third-party cookies.
Make sure that you have Shields disabled for the admin.shopify.com domain. You can do it from the "Shields" icon next to the address bar.
