How to setup a consent banner that meets all the requirements of Google’s policies
In this guide, you will learn how to configure the Pandectes app in order to meet all the requirements of Google’s policies. Follow the next steps to prepare a banner that covers all these requirements.
Install the app from the Shopify app store.

Access the application and activate the Pandectes Core app embed inside the theme and click Save.

Ensure you have installed the rules script on your theme.liquid. Copy ` {% render 'pandectes-rules' %} `and paste it just after the <head> tag inside your theme.liquid file.
Navigate to Settings > Integrations and activate the Google Consent Mode v2 and click Save.

Navigate to Setting > Banner > Behavior and select the Preferences banner type and then scroll down and enable the link to Google's terms on your banner and click Save.


Navigate to Settings > Banner > Content and on the message field make sure you have included at the end this message about Google: The collection, sharing, and use of personal data can be used for personalization of ads.

After completing these steps, your banner will meet all requirements based on Google's policies.
